Bradford Woods

Since 2011, CHAMP Camp has been held at Bradford Woods, Indiana University’s 2,500-acre learning and outdoor education center in Martinsville, IN. For over 50 years, Bradford Woods has offered recreational, educational, and leadership development programs to youth and adults locally, nationally, and globally, serving more than 25,000 people annually. Committed to environmental stewardship, it provides state-of-the-art programs, recreational opportunities, and professional services.

Bradford Woods features exceptional facilities and activities, including a waterfront for canoeing, fishing, swimming, and boating (paddle boats and pontoons), a 50-foot alpine climbing tower, a fully accessible zip line and swimming pool, adaptive and therapeutic archery, and a creative arts facility.

During CHAMP Camp, campers and counselors stay in Baxter Village, centrally located within the camp. Baxter Village includes six air-conditioned, fully accessible cabins accommodating up to 108 people. Each cabin features a large room for 10, two smaller rooms for four each, a half bath, a large community bathroom, and a sitting area with a wooden table and chairs. The cabins are conveniently close to the pool, archery range, and Baxter Dining Hall.
